LOCAL groms will have the opportunity to mix it with their favourite World Surf League Championship Tour surfers at this year’s Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.
The Bonsoy Board Caddy Program will give young surfers the chance to support the professional athletes during the event.
As caddies, they will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling competitors boards before and after their heats.
Since 2022, the program has given locals the chance to gain an invaluable hands-on experience at a WSL event.
Australian Championship Tour surfer Isabella Nichols said she was a huge fan of the program and loves getting involved with it each year.
The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach begins on April 18.
