Sketch and Scribe Fest is the fun festival that connects you with children’s publishers.
Designed for children’s writers and illustrators of all levels – beginner scribblers to published authors/illustrators – wanting to connect and learn from publishers and award-winning experts.
There are many development opportunities for writers and artists wanting to pitch their work and level-up their craft.
- Workshop your manuscript or portfolio with publishers in a Coaching Camp with bonus workshops
- Attend publisher panels and developmental masterclasses in-person and on-line
- Be part of the illustration exhibition to publishers online or sell your art in a gallery.
- Pitch your work to publishers and agents.
- Enter the writing competition.
- Networking fun ‘n’ games
- Award-winning author and illustrator book signings.
- ‘Meet the Publishers’ cocktail party
The festival is a mix of in-person and on-line Zoom events.
In-person venues are Jan Juc SLSC, 10 Club House Rd, Jan Juc, Vic 3228 and Anglesea Art Space, Shop 2/103 Great Ocean Rd, Anglesea VIC 3230.
