Winchelsea Music Season

James Emerson returns to Australia for one unforgettable winter evening of music, charm and good humour at the historic Globe Theatre in Winchelsea. A Victorian‑born baritone now based in Europe, James brings a rich, expressive voice and a relaxed, engaging stage presence that makes audiences feel instantly at home.

He is joined by pianist Susan Goessling, whose elegant playing and quick wit create the perfect partnership for a program that moves from the beauty of Bach and Mozart to the warmth of Schubert, Schumann and Finzi, before opening into the sparkle of operetta and musical theatre. Guest artist Zinaida Campion, soprano, appears for two duets that add colour, connection and a touch of playful energThis is James’s only Australian performance this season, offering a rare chance to hear an exceptional young artist in an intimate, welcoming setting. Expect beautiful music, easy laughter and the kind of atmosphere that makes a winter night out on the Surf Coast feel special.

A memorable evening for anyone who enjoys great singing, good company and a relaxed, uplifting night of live performance.
