The weekend has been running for more than 50 years and is an opportunity to learn about the Surf Coast’s diverse plants and animals with a wide array of local wildflowers on display.

The show attracts visitors from all over Australia as the Anglesea heathlands are of international significance. The proceeds of the show are used for land conservation purposes.

The show includes spectacular displays of native flowers and opportunities for people to take guided walks and bus tours to visit the bushland and flora reserves to see indigenous flowers in their natural habitat. There are also native plants books on environmental subjects, cards and various forms of craftwork for sale.

The  Angair Nature Show website complements Angair’s annual Wildflower & Arts Weekend.

There is a wealth of articles, videos, self-guided walks and nature-related activities for all ages, and we encourage you to Wonder, Protect, Explore, Learn, Create and Play.

The Nature Show website enables you to engage with Angair activities throughout the year and aims to share and encourage you to enjoy and discover as much of our beautiful environment, its fauna and flora and local conservation efforts as is possible.

Angair, established in 1969, is an active conservation group dedicated to the protection of indigenous flora and fauna and to maintaining the natural beauty of Anglesea and Aireys Inlet and their local environments.
